Eggs, salmon and toast

Animal Orchestra (163 Grattan St, Carlton 3053, Victoria, Australia) is the local hangout spot for Melbourne University students.

The cafe serves your average cafe thoroughfare, with reasonable breakfasts (good portions, but slightly expensive) and reasonably good coffee. Had their salmon and eggs, which was served with a side of rocket (extensive rocket and some nice balsamic dressing). We came in a large group but were served reasonably fast - an upside indeed.

The best part is probably the interior - the walls are wallpapered with magazine covers, and is a lovely quirky place to sit and chill with friends in between classes.
