Independence can seem like something vague, and as the years go by the idea of Merdeka changes with your experiences.
It was an interesting project to walk around the workplace and interview different people on their opinions of Merdeka, and at moments, I felt like I was reminded again and again of the spirit of patriotism that lies behind 31st August 2018.
To borrow a phrase from Remembrance Day, lest we forget the significance and the sacrifices behind our independence day.
