A Difference in Opinion

I like you as a friend. 

I do however disagree with some of your opinions. 

Does that make us any less of friends? Is our friendship so shallow that we cannot agree that we may not see eye to eye on certain things, and that this difference of opinion has made us view each other so differently? 

Can we learn to accept the differences in our opinion, and once again, find the love within each other that was the basis of our friendship? 

It is sad to be torn apart by a difference of opinion, and yet, something too commonly seen.

I would hold my tongue, but will you hold yours too?
