Happy Independence Day Malaysia. 

It's been a rough one, with the national tragedies of M370 and MH17, but its also heartening to see how we manage to come together in these times of crisis. While we have been in the spotlight for the wrong reasons, and exacerbated by our own cyber warriors, there is always a learning curve, and perhaps this was ours.

Let us rise above petty disturbances and band together. 

And for those who have faith, spare a prayer for the souls of those who were involved in the plane tragedies.
